چکیده

Abstract Comfrey Symphytum officinale L. (true comfrey) and S. × uplandicum Nyman (a hybrid between asperum Lepech L., Russian are used externally for the treatment of pain, inflammation swelling muscles joints in degenerative arthritis, acute myalgia, sprains, contusions strains after accidents. Besides plant secondary compounds associated with beneficial activities (e.g. rosmarinic acid allantoin) comfrey forms also toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA). To improve further breeding study genetic relationships a collection, sample set 219 5 plants were analysed 34 SNP markers by KASP (Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR), developed from next generation sequencing approach three different individuals . In parallel, polyphenol acid, purine derivative allantoin, alkaloids. two compounds, 13 polyphenols 10 derivatives determined. The grouped into six distinct clusters. Rosmarinic was not linked to any clusters, while one cluster distinctively some amongst them allantoin globoidnan A. Also certain low content PA, which could become valuable gene pool minimizing PA breeding. A subset samples second year again where showed medium stability, completely unstable.

Comfrey (Symphytum Officinale. l.) and Experimental Hepatic Carcinogenesis: A Short-term Carcinogenesis Model Study

Comfrey or Symphytum officinale (L.) (Boraginaceae) is a very popular plant used for therapeutic purposes. Since the 1980s, its effects have been studied in long-term carcinogenesis studies, in which Comfrey extract is administered at high doses during several months and the neoplastic hepatic lesions are evaluated. However, the literature on this topic is very poor considering the studies perf...

Selection of endophytic fungi from comfrey (Symphytum officinale L.) for in vitro biological control of the phytopathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.)

Biological control consists of using one organism to attack another that may cause economic damage to crops. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a very common strategy. The white mold produced by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) causes considerable damage to bean crops. This fungus is a soil inhabitant, the symptoms of which are characterized by water-soaked lesions covered by a white cottony fu...

TLC densitometric method for screening of lycopsamine in comfrey root (Symphytum officinale L.) extracts using retrorsine as a reference compound.

Due to severe toxicity of pyrrolizidine alkaloids, their quantification in medicinal products is very important. The idea of this research was to use retrorsine as a surrogate reference compound instead of lycopsamine reference or lycopsamine isolated from comfrey. A method for the analysis of lycopsamine in extracts of comfrey roots was developed and validated, employing thin layer chromatogra...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
